Where is Chorum.io hosted?
Chorum.io runs in UK data centres. Every tenant gets its own container and its own database, both in the United Kingdom, so the records you keep in the platform sit here rather than being replicated to another region. The company behind it, Metis Solutions Group Ltd, is a UK company. Billing is in GBP, not converted from dollars.
That matters for three reasons. Data residency is a hard requirement for some contracts and procurement processes. GDPR questions get shorter answers when the platform holding your records is in the country you operate in. And a price in pounds is the price you pay next month, whatever the exchange rate does.
What UK-hosted actually means here
Not a checkbox on a compliance page. Three things you can verify.
UK data residency
Every tenant runs in its own container in a UK data centre. Not as a paid add-on, not as an enterprise-tier upgrade.
- Default, not an option
- Isolated per tenant
Built around UK money
Prices in pounds and money stored in pence throughout. UK VAT, UK payment terms and UK tax codes are in the data model, not bolted on.
- No FX surprises
- VAT handled properly
GDPR-native
Built to UK GDPR from the start rather than retrofitted. Audit logging and role-based access are standard on every tier.
- Data processing agreement available
- Audit trail across modules
Six modules, one customer record
Chorum.io is modular. You buy the modules you need and they all sit on the same database, under the same customer record.
- CRM for contacts, companies, deals and sales pipeline
- ERP for products, inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing and a double-entry general ledger with UK VAT
- Helpdesk for ticketing, SLAs and customer support
- WMS for warehouse management, picking and despatch
- Marketing for email campaigns, mailing lists and social scheduling
- Field Service for job scheduling, mobile workforce and site visits. Coming soon, not available yet
Five are available today and Field Service is on its way. Take one module and it is a very good CRM you can grow into. Take the lot and it is a full business suite. Either way it is one login, one database and one bill in pounds.
The company record is where this shows up. Deals, orders, tickets, contracts, invoices, credit notes, returns and subscriptions all roll up to the same customer, in tabs, with a single timeline across the lot. Not four systems that agree with each other on a good day.
Included as standard, not as an upsell
Things that are commonly gated behind a top tier elsewhere.
- Microsoft single sign-on, on every tier
- Contract templates and tokenised e-signing, so no separate e-signature subscription
- Audit logging with retention
- Role and company-level access control
- Notifications in-app, by browser push and by email
