Azure DevOps integration

What it does
The Azure DevOps integration joins Chorum Helpdesk to an Azure DevOps organisation and project. Once connected you can see active pull requests and pipeline runs for your chosen repositories in the DevOps Hub. It sits alongside the GitHub integration and is set up for each customer separately.
Before you start
You need three things:
- An Azure DevOps organisation and a project.
- A Personal Access Token (PAT) with at least Code (Read) and Build (Read) scopes. Create one in Azure DevOps under User settings, Personal access tokens, New Token. Copy it at once, because Azure shows it only once.
Step 1: Connect
- Go to Helpdesk, DevOps, Settings and find the Azure DevOps card.
- Choose Connect and enter your organisation, project, and the PAT, then save. Chorum validates the token and the project before saving.
- The PAT is stored encrypted and is never shown again. To replace it later, choose Update and paste a new token (leave the field blank to keep the stored one).
Step 2: Choose repositories
After connecting, add the repositories Chorum should watch. Use Add from Azure to pull the project's repositories, or type a name. Switch each repository on or off. Only the ones that are switched on appear in the Hub.
Step 3: The Hub
On the DevOps Hub tab, an Azure DevOps section shows, for your connected repositories:
- Open pull requests, with the source and target branch and the author.
- Pipeline runs, meaning recent build and pipeline runs with their status.
Disconnecting
Choose Disconnect on the Azure DevOps card to remove the connection and the stored PAT for that customer.
If the Hub is empty
Check that the PAT has Code and Build read scopes, that the organisation and project names are correct, and that at least one repository is switched on.
