Landing pages

What landing pages are for
A landing page is a single web page built around one action: sign up for an event, download a guide, request a quote. Every campaign should have one, so your emails, posts and ads all send people somewhere focused, and you can measure how many of them take that action.
Chorum builds landing pages visually from ready-made sections, publishes them on your workspace's web address, captures leads straight into the CRM, and tracks visits and conversions.
Create a page
- Go to Marketing, Content, Landing Pages and create a new page.
- Enter a Page title, for example "Spring launch".
- Check the URL slug. It is generated from the title and becomes the end of the page address, for example
/spring-launch. Short, readable slugs work best. - Add an Excerpt: a one line summary used for search results and social media previews.
- Optionally Attach to campaign so the page's results count towards that campaign.
- Choose Create + open builder.
Build the page
The builder has a palette of sections you add to the page and fill in: hero, features, testimonials, pricing, call to action, FAQ, forms, image and text, stats, team, tabs, divider and spacer. Colours and fonts come from your brand kit, so set that up first (see Setting up your brand kit).
A simple structure that works for most pages:
- Hero: a clear headline saying what the visitor gets, one supporting line and one button.
- Features or image and text: three reasons it is worth their time.
- Testimonials or stats: proof from real customers.
- Form: the action itself. Pick one of your forms so submissions become CRM leads. See Forms and lead capture.
- FAQ: answer the questions that stop people signing up.
Images come from the Media Library (Marketing, Content, Media Library), where you can upload and reuse images across pages, emails and posts.
Choose Save as you go.
Set the SEO details
Open the page settings from the builder toolbar and fill in:
- Meta title (SEO): the title shown in search results. Put the most important words first.
- Meta description (SEO): the short summary under the title in search results. Write it as a reason to click.
- Featured image: shown when the page is shared on social media.
- Excerpt / social-preview text, the URL slug and the Attached campaign.
If you track keywords in the SEO tools, the settings also suggest target keywords with their search volume and difficulty.
Preview and publish
- Use the preview to see the page as visitors will. Save first if you have unsaved changes.
- Choose Publish. The page goes live at its slug on your workspace's address. If the page is attached to a campaign, the campaign's tracking tag is applied to the page's outbound links.
- To take a page down, choose Unpublish.
Measure and improve
Analytics
Below the builder, the Analytics panel shows the page's visits and conversions over recent days, including scroll depth, button clicks and form submissions, and where visitors came from. Data starts to appear once the page is published and getting visits.
AI optimisation suggestions
If you have connected Google Search Console (see Google Search Console), choose Generate from Search Console. Claude looks at the searches that show your page and suggests specific changes, such as a better meta title or headline, with a before and after for each. Approve or Reject each suggestion, then Apply to page for the ones you approve.
A/B testing
Not sure which headline works better? Choose New A/B test, pick what counts as success (a button click, a form submission, a conversion or a bounce), and Add variant for each version you want to try. Start the test and Chorum splits visitors between the versions. Results shows sessions and conversions for each variant and how confident you can be in the winner. Pause, Resume or Complete the test at any time.
Give a test enough visits before you decide. A handful of conversions is not enough to pick a winner.
Publishing on your own WordPress site
If your main website runs on WordPress, you can import a Chorum landing page onto it so it lives on your own domain, which is better for search rankings. Install the Chorum Forms plugin on the WordPress site, connect it to your Chorum workspace, then go to Chorum.io, Landing Pages in WordPress and choose Import next to the page. Images are copied into your WordPress media library, the SEO details come across, and the form keeps sending leads to Chorum. Re-import any time to pick up changes.
